About Ulrika Ölund:

The passion for music has always been there. She's been singing as long as she can remember, she plays guitar and started writing her own material at the age of 16. Ulrika has performed on national tv, radio and given many concerts across Sweden as well as abroad solo or with a band.

Ulrika also writes music for other artists i various genres and love to try new things. But her heart is in the pop/country genre and that's the kind of music she writes for herself. Her music has it's roots in Nashville and reveals a world of poetry, love and longing.

Her longed-for debut EP "Memorylane" was released 2008. Her new single "Sick and tired" was released 2010 along with her very first single in Swedish "Längtan efter något större".

15,000 entries from 100 countries entered the International Songwriting Competition 2009 and Ulrika was selected as a semi-finalist in the Performance category with her song "Unforgettable".

Ulrika spend 3 months in Nashville, TN, 2010; writing new material, going to meetings with musicindustry people and giving 30 conserts. She is a proud member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association)

Her new single "Trains" was released 2011-05-10. It's now being aired on every P4 radiostation in Sweden. A musicvideo was released in October and can be found on YouTube.
